![]() ![]() Orbit Baby designs world-class child transportation gear that are easy to use and high on safety and style.įew years back, Orbit Baby had announced they were shutting down, and it was a big disappointment for many because they made some really innovative baby gear. The patented rotational interface allows parents to dock and rotate interchangeable seats on various bases and strollers. It allowed parents to easily use car seat, stroller and bassinet. Orbit Baby made the world’s first 360 degree rotating stroller its innovative SmartHub technology allowed the baby’s seat to easily turn 360 degrees without any disruption, and was indeed a unique creation seen in the industry. The company lays special focus on advanced safety and engineering, innovation, ergonomic design, and being environmentally friendly. Their products that are intuitive, safe to use, and offer excellent mobility. Made in Europe.not China is also a plus.Orbit Baby, a designer and distributor of premium infant–to-toddler stroller and car seat travel systems, have several products that are designed exclusively for active families.įounded in 2004, the company makes child travel products, including: car seats, strollers, bassinets, and accessories and offers excellent customer service. It folds up easily to 2 wheels for navigating escalators/stairs in our local subway system. I have an SUV so transporting it is not an issue but may be for others. the other brands listed here it fit best with our height. Also we are a very tall couple so the height of this is ideal for us vs. and having to bend over so much to interact with him versus having him right in my face. I like that it sits up so high versus having baby down close to the ground with peoples pets, car fumes etc. I can use the Peg Perego infant seat with it (which I also have).Īnd it has the regular seat for when they are sitting up on their own and will last well into the toddler years. If you do not want to get a moses basket stand you can also leave the bassinet in the stroller and lock the wheels and have another handy place for them to sleep on your lower level. I will use the bassinet with a moses basket stand as another place for baby to lay/sleep when on another level/floor of my home. I got the Stokke (bought preowned from a local couple off craigslist). I also hear they have great customer service, so go to their website if you need any specifics.Īnd no, I don't have any stock in the company or anything, just like to brag b/c it is my fave baby product. ![]() The Vista is a large stroller, but it's really the best thought out IMO. I also just sold a Phil & Ted's, which I never really gave a good chance.but it just didn't have the same features either. I can't close the thing correctly, the basket is useless, and it just doesn't handle the same. Compared to the Uppa Baby, it's a total disappointment. I just bought a Quinny Buzz and can't wait to resell it. When we travel, I carry my laptop bag in the front and my carry on suitcase in the back, then I attach my diaper bag and purse to the handle.and sometimes throw my car seat right on top too if I'm wearing the baby. I also love that you can buy the rumble seat and the footboard to make it a legitimate triple stroller without it being 7 feet long like the Big Caboose even a standard double like a Graco.Īfter buying some new strollers, I can also say I 100% think it has the best storage basket ever. I love that the bassinet comes standard with the stroller. I have beaten the thing up thoroughly and it still looks pretty nice. I can put 2 of my kids in the bassinet (probably not the safest idea, but worked for us) and my oldest son on the footboard and still push it w/ one hand (although would need 2 to steer w/ all 3 kids in/on it). I can say my only complaint is how wide the wheels are, but it really makes for the smoothest ride of any stroller I've ever touched. I know that if you want your '08 stroller modified for the rumble seat, you send it to either MA or to their other office in CA (read it on their website). I'm not sure that they are made in China, I'd look that up b/c it is a Boston based company that is very eco-conscious. Hands down, the Uppa Baby is my favorite. ![]()
